E tema ta‘Dependensia’. Esaki ta kuadra ku e espírito di tempu i e konteksto spesífiko di Kòrsou, pero alabes e ta di tur tempu i ta habrí pa tur klase di interpretashon.
Nos ta organisá e ekposishon akí den kuadro di aña di kultura, i na mes momentu en konekshon ku bishita di un delegashon di profeshonalnan di arte prosediente di region Caribense i di New York, unda ta planeando un eksposishon general di arte di region caribe pa aña 2011, den kuadro di “Caribbean: crossroads of the world”.
Ta un honor grandi i un chèns úniko pa por ofresé tantu hende un oportunidat di apresiá kiko Kòrsou tin di ofresé na talento kreativo.
Den un proyekto asina mester hasi eskoho i un komishon ku ta konsistí di delegadonan di Landhuis Bloemhof, Gallery Alma Blou, Mon art Gallery, Curaçaosch Museum, Huize Stroomzigt i Instituto Buena Bista a bati kabes serio i ekstensamente riba e tópiko. Algun artista a keda individualmente invitá pa mustra nan obra na diferente sitio. Obviamente e artistanan aki lo NO keda selektá pa partisipá na e eksposishon ‘Dependensia’ na Landhuis Kenepa.

INVITATION
You are kindly invited to participate in a group show at Landhuis Kenepa: from the 21st. till the 31st of May 2009.
The theme of this exhibition is ‘Dependensia’. A theme which matches with our time and the specific context of Curaçao, but at the same time fits with all ages and freely can be interpretated.
We are organizing this exhibition within the framework of ‘aña di Kultura’, but furthermore in connection with the visit of a delegation of art professionals from the region and New York (in the wider context of a ‘Round table conference: Crossroads of the World’), where is scheduled to take place a huge overview of art of the Caribbean in 2011. It is a big honor and a chance to get these people here and use the opportunity to show them and the people of our island how much creative talents we have.
Choices have to be made and a commission of representatives of Landhuis Bloemhof, Gallery di Alma Blou, Mon Art gallery, Curacaos Museum en Huize Stroomzigt and IBB (Instituto Buena Bista) has studied seriously and extensively this matter. A few artists of Curacao has been asked specifically to show their works on several spots on the island. Obviously they will not be selected during this period to show in the exhibition in landhuis Kenepa
Tirzo Martha en David Bade (co-founders IBB) will be personally select the works with you and are responsible for the layout of this exhibition in landhuis Kenepa. Therefore it is of high importance that you report as soon as possible (once again for some of you) at IBB. (tel:4613394)() or directly with David Bade: (tel:5400097). Martha en Bade will be in contact with you before the end of April to make an appointment.

UITNODIGING
U bent van harte uitgenodigd te participeren in een groepstentoonstelling in/bij landhuis Kenepa van 21 tot en met 31 mei 2009.
Het thema is ‘Dependensia’. Een thema dat past bij de tijdgeest en specifieke context van Curaçao, maar net zo goed van alle tijden is en open staat voor al uw interpretaties.
Wij organiseren deze tentoonstelling in het grote kader van aña di Kultura, maar bovendien i.v.m. het bezoek van een delegatie van kunstprofessionals uit de regio en New York (in het kader van de ‘roundtable: Crossroads of the World’), waar in 2011 een groot overzicht is gepland van Caribische kunst. Het is een grote eer en kans om zovelen de gelegenheid te bieden te tonen wat Curaçao in huis heeft aan creatief talent.
Er moeten in zo’n project keuzes gemaakt worden en een commissie van afgevaardigden van Landhuis Bloemhof, Gallery di Alma Blou, Mon Art gallery, Curacaos Museum en Huize Stroomzigt en IBB (Instituto Buena Bista)hebben zich daar serieus en uitgebreid over gebogen. Daarbij is een aantal kunstenaars specifiek gevraagd om op diverse plekken hun werk te tonen. Zij zullen in deze periode vanzelfsprekend niet worden geselecteerd voor de tentoonstelling in landhuis Kenepa.
Tirzo Martha en David Bade (medeoprichters van IBB) zullen samen met u persoonlijk het werk selecteren en zijn verantwoordelijk voor de inrichting van de expositie in/bij Kenepa. Daarom is het van groot belang dat u zich zo spoedig mogelijk (nogmaals voor sommigen) aanmeldt bij het IBB (tel:4613394)() of direct bij David Bade: (tel:5400097). Martha en Bade zullen dan eind april een afspraak met u maken.
